MEETINGS and TRAINING

Continuing professional education is provided by both the Chapter (through bi-monthly breakfast training meetings and an annual seminar) and by ACFE International, as detailed below:

COCFE Bi-Monthly Breakfast/Training Meetings

The Colorado Chapter holds bi-monthly breakfast training meetings. The topics and presenters vary at each meeting to provide a broad base of training for our membership.

COCFE Annual Training Seminar   (Sponsorship opportunities available - see below)

Each year the Chapter holds a one or two day seminar for the benefit of members and other interested professionals.

This year's seminar is October 21 & 22, 2008 and features Don Rabon.

The seminar is entitled "WRITTEN DISCOURSE ANALYSIS" - and will be an in-depth, two day class on how to detect deception in written documents.  It is a different course than presented last year focusing on the written word.

Sponsorship opportunities:  Are you or your company interested in helping to sponsor this seminar?  If so,  please contact Pam Kerr.

Seminar planning/ideas:  If you would like to help plan the fall seminar or other seminars...  or have ideas on what to present in the future - please contact our training director.

ACFE International Seminars and Training

Our parent organization sponsors numerous opportunities to learn about Fraud and its detection.  For more information see the ACFE website.
